DEMENTIA AWARENESS TRAINING

“Dementia Awareness Workshop”

WHEN: Wednesday 28 October, 9.30am – 4.30pm

Cost: free

This workshop, open to UNISON Members and run by the Open University will aim to help you understand:

· what is meant by the term dementia types and causes

· how having dementia affects the way a person behaves and functions

· that it is possible to live well with dementia

UNISON Shetland Public Services Branch

UNISON members are people working in the public services, for private contractors providing public services and the essential utilities. If they can't handle the problem on their own, they can talk to other branch officers or full-time union experts on your behalf.
